Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using CCDresshire. The Client agrees to the terms and conditions of this agreement.

01. Standard Terms

1.1 CCDresshire: (“CCDresshire”, “Us”, “We”, “Our”) defines CCDresshire.

1.2 Client: (“You”, “Your”, “Client”, “Borrower”) defines the person that enters into a rental agreement with CCDresshire. Under no circumstances is the Client able to allow other individuals to wear the Garment in the Rental Period, unless permission is granted from CCDresshire first.

1.3 Garment: means any and all clothing or accessories hired from CCDresshire by the Client.

1.4 Rental Period: the agreed and pre-negotiated period of time that the Garment is being hired by the Client.

1.5 Rental Post Return Date: means the date the Garment is to be lodged at an Australia Post Post Office

1.6 Rental Return Due Date: defines the date the Garment is to be returned to CCDresshire’s premises.

1.7 Price: means the cost of hiring a Garment from CCDresshire.

1.8 RRP: means the Recommended Retail price of the Garment as determined by CCDresshire acting reasonabl.

1.9 Interstate: defines any Garment that is rented outside of Western Australia.

02. Payment

2.1 The rental price is calculated according to the Rental Period chosen by the Client.

2.2 Payment of the rental price can be made through Credit Card platforms (i.e. Visa, Mastercard) for pre-paid bookings or cash/bank transfer for last minute bookings where the Client has attended a try on.

2.3 Once the Price has been paid in full, no refunds can be given (it is the responsibility of the Client to try on the Garment before booking or to know their size requirements)

2.4 A booking will only be eligible for a credit note if an event has been cancelled due to a COVID-19 lockdown. A booking will only be eligible for a credit if CCDresshire is notified of a cancelled booking prior to postage or collection.

2.5 If the Client is notified of additional fees owed to CCDresshire, they must pay within 24 hours. The Client will automatically be charged via their credit card if they fail to pay within this time frame.

03. Returns and Late Fees – Western Australian Hires

3.1 Unless otherwise agreed by CCDresshire all Garments hired on a weekend (Friday-Sunday) are to be returned by 1pm Monday immediately following the Rental Period by placing them in CCDresshire’s return location.

3.2 Unless otherwise agreed by CCDresshire all Garments hired on a weekday (Monday-Thursday) are to be returned by 8pm the next day immediately following the Rental Period by placing them in CCDresshire’s return location.

3.3 Alternate arrangements for the Rental Return Due Date can be agreed between the client and CCDresshire prior to the commencement of the Rental Period.

3.4 Late fees will apply if the Garment is not returned by the Rental Return Due Date. A fee of $15 per day will apply until the Garment is returned.

3.5 The Garment is deemed a non-return after 20 days and the Client will be charged 100% of the RRP.

04. Cleaning

4.1 By hiring the Garment, the Client agrees that she will not attempt to clean the Garment. If the Garment has been damaged through any cleaning attempts, the Client will be charged a fee up to the RRP, determined by CCDresshire.

4.2 General dry cleaning is covered by CCDresshire, however, if the Garment has been stained and requires additional cleaning, the Client agrees to bear the extra fees. The fee will be invoiced to the Client following inspection of the Garment.

05. Damages

5.1 It is expected that all Garments are returned in the condition that they were received by the Client from CCDresshire.

5.2 If a Garment is returned with minor damage, the Client agrees to pay for the repair (in addition to the Price). The cost of such repairs will be determined by CCDresshire acting reasonably in conjunction with CCDresshire’s seamstress and/or dry cleaning provider.

5.3 If a Garment is returned with major damage, either beyond repair or ruined (as determined by CCDresshire acting reasonably), the Client agrees to pay the full replacement cost of the Garment (in addition to the Price), provided such cost will not exceed the RRP of the Garment. This must be paid within 14 days of the Garment being returned.

5.4 CCDresshire may determine in its sole discretion whether the damage is “minor” or “major”.

5.5 Clients acknowledge that they are wearing second hand garments that have been worn by other people, therefore some wear and tear is to be expected. CCDresshire will not provide refunds for Garments that have normal wear and tear consistent with a level to be expected of a hire garment.

0.6 Postage and Returns

6.1 CCDresshire will not provide any refund for items that do not arrive in time due to COVID-19 delays. A credit note to the value of the Price (minus postage) will be provided. It is the Clients responsibility to accept the potential risk of postage delays.

6.2 The Garment is to be posted by 1pm on Monday immediately following the negotiated Rental Period.

6.3 Express post bags are to be lodged at the Australia Post Post Office with the Client’s signature on the front. The receipt of lodgement must be provided to CCDresshire. Under no circumstances is it acceptable to place the bag in an Australia Post Box.

6.4 The Garment must be returned in the packaging provided by CCDresshire, using the pre-paid postage package provided by CCDresshire.

6.5 Late fees will apply if the Garment is not lodged at the post office by the Rental Return Due Date. A fee of $15 per day will apply until the Garment is returned. The late fee applies if proof of lodgement is not provided before 1pm on Monday.

6.6 The Garment is deemed a non-return after 20 days and the Client will be charged 100% of the RRP.

0.7 Credit Notes

7.1 If a Credit Note is issued, it is valid for 6 months from the issue date. The rental must be completed within the 6 month period.
